Oreo’s Facebook Salute to the Mars Landing Will Make You Hungry

Oreo is milking the Mars Rover landing in grand style. The brand, which has 27 million Facebook fans, appears to have another winner with its Mars Rover salute. Posted late Sunday, the picture has more than 18,000 Likes.
The brand scored a similar hit in June with a photo of a rainbow Oreo in support of gay rights, though the response to that one was even bigger —
143,000 Likes. Since June, the brand and ad agency DraftFCB have been celebrating the brand’s 100th anniversary by offering other Oreo-based photographic tributes, which are cataloged on DailyTwist, which is sort of a Google Doodle for the brand.
