Angry Birds Space Will Land on Mars

The latest Angry Birds Space update added more levels to its Utopia planet, and our favorite birds are set to invade the red planet.
Similar to the game’s initial launch last March, Rovio collaborated with NASA to create a short video about the update.
As Pocket Gamer notes, the 30-second teaser begins with a notice about the imminent landing of the Mars Curiosity Rover on the red planet. Posted below, the video asks the question that’s on everyone’s mind: “What will it find?”
In the clips, the shadow of a passing bird appears on the surface of Mars. Perhaps that means the rover may very well find the super-powered fowl of Angry Birds Space? Of course, this all but confirms that their sworn piggy enemies are on the red planet as well.
The current versions of Angry Birds Space for iPhone and Angry Birds Space HD for iPad are available in the App Store for $0.99 and $2.99, respectively.
