10 Moments of Triumph Photographed by Our Readers

Triumph is the feeling you get when you accomplish a goal or achieve something spectacular. It’s an instant, automatic reaction that transcends culture. The feeling is a huge part of the Olympic Games, and we have seen a lot of it this week.

From the look on Aly Raisman’s face when she completed her near-perfect floor routine to the race in which Michael Phelps captured his 19th Olympic medal, moments of triumph make us feel great, whether they happen to us or we witness them from the sidelines.
But Olympic athletes aren’t the only ones who experience triumph, and our readers proved that this week with their submissions to Mashable’s Photo Challenge.

We asked you to send in your pictures of triumph, success or victory. Since those feelings are not solely tied to athletic achievements or recognition, we were excited to see how you ran with this week’s theme.
The submissions ranged from physical accomplishments to emotional accomplishments. From a marriage proposal to the joyous finish of a seven-hour triathlon, this week’s picks showcase some of your proudest moments.
